A Guide to Bathroom Furniture
Bathroom furniture is available in a variety of styles and sizes to suit all bathroom types and budgets. You can choose from the following styles:
Modular Bathroom Furniture is where each piece can stand alone as a distinct item or can be combined with other pieces in the range to offer a full solution.
Vanity Units available in a choice of colours and sizes, all made to suit many different bathroom designs, and many now supplied with matching mirrors or wall cabinets.
Fitted Bathroom Furniture which can be fitted wall to wall in your new bathroom and is finished with a worktop to give a seamless fully integrated look, that can be enhanced with the use of a semi-recessed basin and back to wall toilet. Fitted bathroom furniture is also now designed in a compact style made for smaller bathrooms and en-suites; this style is called Compact Fitted Furniture.
There are various types of Finishing Touches available to complete your beautiful new bathroom, these include Mirrored Bathroom cabinets and Bathroom Mirrors.
Types of Bathroom Furniture
Bathroom Furniture comes in three main types: Modular Furniture, which is modern styled bathroom furniture, where each piece can stand alone; Vanity Units where the basin is integral to the cabinet; and Fitted Bathroom furniture where each unit can link to another forming a 'wall to wall' solution if you require.
Modular Bathroom Furniture
Modular bathroom furniture is usually manufactured from water resistant foil wrapped chipboard, or mdf, that is carefully constructed to withstand the modern bathroom environment. Modular bathroom furniture is available in a variety of sizes and designs ensuring that you have a choice to suit your new bathroom.
Vanity Units
With sizes from 450mm all the way up to 1200mm and a choice of Teak or Gloss White finishes you should be able to find the perfect Vanity Unit for your requirements. Vanity units incorporate an integral ceramic basin that will usually have useful storage 'wings' on either side of the basin washing area. The units will offer a variety of doors, drawers and shelves, according to the size and style you choose.
Fitted Bathroom Furniture
There is a range of furniture to suit every bathroom with cabinets ranging from 300mm and 400mm available as base or wall cabinets to a 600mm and 700mm basin base or WC cabinets. Compact fitted Furniture is made with less depth front to back than standard Fitted Furniture and so will help if you are short of space in your bathroom or en-suite. All the panels used in the construction of the Fitted Furniture are edged and the cabinets are supplied ready to assemble.
Bathroom Worktops to co-ordinate with you fitted furniture are available in various lengths; ranging from 2m for a long run of work surface incorporating a number of cabinets, to 700mm or 600mm for just one or two cabinets. Bathroom worktops are made up from chipboard with a hardwearing laminate top surface, they are available in either a matt or gloss finish.

Mirrored Bathroom cabinets and Bathroom mirrors are available in a wide choice of sizes and styles and will provide the perfect finish to your bathroom.
