Worlds best bathroom

Welcome to Kanuhura, Maldives

Kanuhura is three private islands found in the Maldives. Described as a luxury retreat for free spirited adventures, this tropical paradise is a truly beautiful destination. The only thing that could make this five-star holiday retreat sound even more impressive is if it offered an outdoor bathroom, and of course it does.

Leave your troubles behind and bathe in the sun with an ice-cold refreshment. Nestled under greenery is a modern spa-inspired space.

COMO Point Yamu, Phuket

The COMO Point Yamu is luxury wellness retreat and has two world-class restaurants for Thai and Italian Cuisine (we’re already drooling). The complex was designed by Italian designer Paola Navone, and was said to inspired contemporary Thai luxury, alongside a COMO shambhala wellness.

The wellness retreat is set at the tip of the Cape Yamu, overlooking the Andaman sea, for truly breath-taking views. Of course, there was no expense spared when it came to the bathroom design.

An aquatic bliss styled with calming blue hue mermaid tiles. There to fill your senses with tranquility and remind you of the beauty of blue skies.

Take the mermaid tiles, round countertop basins and pendant lighting to create your very own wellness retreat at home. Imagine coming home to this after a hard day in the office.

El Fenn, Marrakesh, Morocco

Marrakesh, famous for its beautiful silks and busy markets. The Eln Fenn, is a divine luxury hotel with 28 individually styled rooms and suites. The hotel retreat went under a renovation back in 2012 to celebrate it’s tenth anniversary. The hotel celebrates the rich and vibrant culture of Marrakesh in its décor.

Forget the neutral colour scheme you usually find in hotel bathrooms; The El Fenn in Marrakesh is here to remind us why bold colours can lift your mood and create a beautiful space.

This magnificent plunge-pool room incorporates comfort, style and luxury. Indulge in a warm bath whilst taking in the view from the private terrace.

The plunge room reminds us to keep our bathroom décor daring. Make sure you have your freestanding bath as the focal point in your room and plenty of natural lightening to encourage positive well being. Opt for sharp patterned bath matt & shower curtain prints, that pop against the bright tones of your walls.

The Four Seasons Hotel, Florence, Italy

Florence, Italy, renowned for its impeccable architecture and renaissance art. Just like the city itself, the Four Seasons décor is filled with remarkable artwork structure. Think marble floors, gold plated painting and huge roman style baths.

florence Italy

This opulent bathroom suite has painted vaulted ceilings, windowed galleries and plenty of historic features. Create your own Florence heaven by installing marble or marble effect tiles, a grand neutral vanity unit, complete with gold framed mirror. Vina Vik

Vina Vik, In Chile, is a modern vineyard retreat situated in a hilltop; the hotel holds 22 individually decorated suites. The retreat has been designed to bring contemporary art into every aspect of the hotel. From wall paintings, to sculptures – the building is a design of concrete and glass walls, so guests can always see the breathtaking views.

This carbon fiber bathtub was designed to mimic the shape of a hammock – one of the most relaxing sentiments of holidays and sun. Place directly in front of this Panasonic windows, you can melt away your troubles whilst watching the sun go down, with a Chile pinot noir from the hotel’s own vineyard.

Use this contemporary design to create your own Chile getaway. Use granite tiles, and wall hung furniture for a modern design. Instead of a hammock bath, why not consider turning your space into a wet room?
