Rubber washers, which are an integral component within bathroom and kitchen taps, can be maintained simply by not over-tightening taps when turning them on and off.
In general, taps featuring a compression valve and rubber washer will tend to drip a few times once turned off, but that doesn’t mean they require extra tightening or any dripping tap fix measures. Simply let the excess water drip out without further tightening the tap.
